Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Stork age 87 of Fremont, NE formerly of Wisner, Ne will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. Interment will be in the Beemer Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family receiving relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner, NE, and will continue on Wednesday from 9 a.m. till service time at the church. Ruth passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Nye Legacy Health and Rehab in Fremont, NE. Ruth was born October 28, 1922 on a farm near West Point, NE to Rudolph and Elizabeth (Bliemeister) Wegner. She was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Scribner, NE. She lived on the family farm until her marriage to Elmer Stork on April 17, 1949 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Scribner, NE. After their marriage the couple moved to Wisner, NE. Ruth was a longtime cook at the Wisner-Pilger Jr. Sr. High School. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. Ruth liked to cook great cinnamon rolls, pot roast, and host family meals. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, dancing specially to a waltz, vegetable gardening as well as flower gardening. Survivors include- Sons- Harlan and wife JoAnn Stork of Fremont, NE Warren and wife Elaine Stork of Omaha, NE Grandchildren-Tiana and husband Tim McNeil of Atlanta, GA, Michael Carrier of Fremont, NE, David Carrier of Bellevue, NE, Alissa Stork of Lincoln, NE, Kacy and husband A.J. Hansen of Denver, CO, Matthew Phillips of Lincoln, NE, Shawn and wife Allison Phillips of Omaha, NE Great Grandchildren- Matthew Arthur, Jessica Rose Carrier, Analiese McNeil, Evan Hanks, Alexander Phillips, Madelyn Phillips, Myah Hobelman, Joshua Hansen, and Gavin McNeil. Sister-in-law- Dorothy Wegner of Seward, NE Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister.
