Obituary for Bernice Ivie

Mrs. Bernice Ivie, 88, of Corsicana passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2006 in Corsicana. She was born on May 8, 1918 in Drane, Texas. She was a longtime member of First Assembly of God church in Corsicana. She loved watching baseball with the Texas Rangers being her favorite team. She was employed with the Red Cross for many years. She had a great love for her family. Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2006 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary W. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood cemetery. Pallbearers will be Friends of the Family. Mrs. Ivie was preceded in death by her, Husband, Everette Alyan Ivie, Father, Ellis Grave Grimmett, Mother, Tossie Whitehead, and Son-in-Law, Eddie Max Park. She is survived by her Daughter, Ruth Park of Arlington, TX., Son & Daughter-in-Law, Neil & Janette Ivie of Corsicana, TX., Grandsons & Wives, Ronny & Michelle Park of Coppell, TX., Randy Park of Arlington, TX., & Mark & Melissa Ivie of Brenham, TX., Granddaughter & Husband, Stacy & Thomas O'Brien of Fairfield, TX., Step Granddaughter & Husband, Vicki & Adam Montgomery of Dawson, TX., Step Grandsons, Kelly & Stacy Hudson of Corsicana, TX., Ten Great Grandchildren, Sister, Allie Mae Dodson of Corsicana, TX., and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends desiring to do so may make memorial contributions to the Calvary Worship Center Building Fund, 1364 N. Beaton Street, Corsicana, Texas. 75110.
