Dorothy A. (McNeil) Coleman, age 78 years, died Saturday afternoon, January 14, 2006 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. Born in Ipswich, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Elizabeth B. (Saunders) McNeil. She had been a resident of Beverly for most of her life and was a communicant at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

An Honorable Discharged Veteran of the Korean War. She served in the United States Air Force.

Surviving her are of one son, Kenneth W. Coleman of Beverly; three daughters, Kathleen L. Wilson of Dover, NH, Karen L. Scullin and her husband David of Peabody and Carol J. Frey and her husband Kenneth of New Market, NH; seven grandchildren, Christopher Connolly, Gary Connolly, Shannon Sarno, Seth Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Leah Scullin and Shane Buckley-Gray; three great grandchildren, Russell Keeler, Christian Connolly and Jordan Connolly; one brother, Walter H. McNeil Jr. of FL; two sisters Virginia M. McNamara of Beverly and Mary C. Tyler of Framingham and several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Elizabeth Moore and Constance A. McMahon.

PEABODY – formerly of Beverly, Dorothy A. (McNeil) Coleman, age 78 years, died Saturday afternoon, January 14, 2006 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. Born in Ipswich, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Elizabeth B. (Saunders) McNeil. The Funeral will be from the Campbell Funeral Home 525 Cabot St, Beverly on Wednesday at 8:15a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Beverly at 9:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in Central Cemetery, Beverly. The family has requested no visiting hours. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com
