Linda Sue (Pershing) Byrd, age 46, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on January 28, 2011 in Colorado Springs. Linda was born on November 11, 1964 in Springfield, Illinois. Linda attended Mitchell High School in Colorado Springs. She was a member of the President’s Club of Colorado Springs since 2005. Linda also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. She is survived by a son, James Folk, partner-in-life, Kenneth Folk, her parents, Patricia (Jack) Hinton and James and Mary Pershing, 2 sisters, Sharon Neep-Hager and Barbara DeStefano, 3 brothers, James Pershing, John Pershing and Jeffry Troyna. Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Troyna. Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E.
