HAJES: James W. Hajes, 62, of Goose Creek, the husband of Julita Wong Hajes, died on Monday, September 13, 2004 at a local hospital. Born on August 3, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of the late Theodore Hajes and Mildred Powel Hajes. Mr. Hajes was a veteran of the United States Army, he then enlisted in the United States Navy from which he retired. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Julita; two sons: Kevin Hajes and Patrick Hajes, two grandchildren: Melena and Ethan Hajes; a sister: Josephine Worth. He was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Hajes. The family will receive friends from 2-4PM with the memorial service beginning at 4PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2004 in the chapel of McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 100 S. Goose Creek Blvd., (Hwy 52) Goose Creek. Interment will be private. Condolences may be sent via www.mcalister-smith.com
