Funeral services for Daisy Dodson will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mt. Olive Chapel with Rev. Doug McClure officiating and burial following in the Ft. Towson Cemetery. Daisy passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 in Sawyer, OK at the age of 91. Daisy Dodson was born February 24, 1918 in Antlers, OK the daughter of James Monroe and Willie B. (Crisp) Robertson. She married James Dodson on April 21, 1935 in Hazel, Oklahoma. Daisy moved to this area with her husband in 1978 from Bowie, Texas. She enjoyed painting and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James in 1994; two brothers; three sisters. Daisy is survived by one daughter: Patricia A. Paske of Mansfield, TX; one son: James Dodson of Santa Ynez, CA; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Mt. Olive Chapel.
