Linda was born August 8, 1950, in Phoenix, Arizona to Jody Blanton Ewing and Bob Ewing. She died July 8, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was preceeded in death by her mother Jody. Linda graduated from Durant High School and attended Southeastern State earning a degree in art and also attended the University of Kentucky where she excelled as an artist, achieving awards in both oils and watercolors. She continued to paint most of her life giving gifts of her work to family and friends for special occasions. Linda taught art classes at Oak Hall, Episcopal School in Ardmore. She was also an accomplished chef with a catering service for many years. Linda is survived by daughter Addelle Ann Vanway of Ardmore; father Bob Ewing of Durant, and Brother Jim Ewing of Durant. The funeral will be Friday, July 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church in Durant, Oklahoma on the corner of 6th and Beech Street where she was baptized as an infant and confirmed as a teen, a place she dearly loved. Father Jim Blagg will officiate. Linda was a very caring person so she would want you to give any organization you would deem worthwhile.
