Services for Kathey Morgan of Durant, Oklahoma will be Wednesday February 16, 2011 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Darel Bunch and Bro. Kerry Groce officiating. Internment will follow in the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be David Staton, Christopher Morgan, Mark Boydstun, Jeff Richardson, Robert Daws, Johnny Rutherford and Gary Manker. Katheryn Morgan ( 77) of Durant, Oklahoma was born September 25, 1933 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to parents Eddie Joesph and Tommie Evelyn (Winkler) Council Kathey went home Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Calera, Oklahoma. She married Delbert Morgan December 1, 1959 in Bromide, Oklahoma he preceded her in death July 27, 1970. Kathey was known as "Mom" or "Nana". Her home was always a gathering place for her kids and their friends. She never knew how many she would be feeding at dinner or breakfast. She loved playing dominos and going out to eat. Kathey was a longtime member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma. She enjoyed traveling with the Robertsons' Sisters. She retired from the Durant Wal-Mart after 25 years. She loved going to Curves with Billie and Wilma.
