Allie Mae Prough of Durant, Oklahoma, was born November 13, 1922 in Roberta, Oklahoma to William & Maggie (Holt) Roberts. She died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Whitesboro, Texas at the age of 87 years 10 months 15 days. Allie married Robert Prough October 6, 1945 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Calvary baptist Church for most of her life she enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, taking care of her yard, cooking and working cross word puzzels. Allie Mae loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. All who knew and loved her will miss her. Allie Mae is survived her sons Dr. Stanley Prough and wife Kristie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Prough of Whitesboro, Texas, Grandsons Brandon Prough of Whiteboro, Texas, Dakota Prough of Anniston, Alabama, Parker Prough of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Harrison Prough of Tulsa, Oklahoma Thomas Prough of Tulsa, Patrick Prough of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Grandaughter Sophia Prough of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Numerous Neices and Nephews, Brother-In-Law Lee and Charlene Prough of Richardson, Texas, as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Maggie Roberts, husband Robert Preston Prough on August 14, 1979, sisters Maude Rogers, Thelma Tucker, brothers: Claude, Clyde, Arthur, Milton, Clifford and Dub Roberts. Family Hour will be 7:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2010, Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Mr. Skip Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Don Hearon, Glendal Rushing, Harold Ray Langham, James Dalton, Richard McIntire and Mike Lawson.
