Anna Jo Wells, 81, of Durant was born October 5, 1928, in Durant, Oklahoma to Norman Wells and Lena (Ward) Wells. She died Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Durant. Anna was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma. She taught Sunday School there and enjoyed working with her flowers and crafts. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and brother; Homer Dee Wells. She is survived by her sister Linda McGuire and husband Everett of Durant, Oklahoma; Nieces and nephews, Randy and Jan wells and their child Charity; Mark and Kathy Wells and their children Christa, Jenna and husband and Andrea; Doug and LeAnn Wells, their children; Brandon, Nicole and Trevor; Darl and Sandy Chapman, Derrick, Grady, Seth and Tallie; Kendra Wells; Richard and Tina Bush and their children; Ryan and Kim Bush, Brooke and Kris Roberts; Tyler Bush, Lynn Bush; children Britney and Bryce; Numerous great great nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Family hour will be 6-7 p.m. today at Holmes- Coffey- Murray Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant with Bro. Darel Bunch and Skip Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Bush, Tyler Bush, Bryce Bush, Mark Wells, Derrick LeDoux and Grady LeDoux. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kendra Wells, Vernon Armstrong, Seth Chapman and Sandy Chapman.
