Bertha K. Failor, 94, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at home. Born July 4, 1916 in Southampton Twp., Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Martha D. Middaugh Johnson. She retired from U-Wanna-Wash Frock Company in Shippensburg. Bertha is survived by one son, Guy H. Failor, Jr. of Shippensburg, one granddaughter, Lynn Anne Whisler of Carlisle, and two great grandsons; Breydan and Cameron Whisler both of Carlisle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy H. Failor, Sr. who died August 7, 1982, a daughter, Miriam Naugle, four sisters, and three brothers are also deceased. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Tim Wheeler. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg.
