Irene Marion Jones, 59, Clarksville, went to be with her Lord and Savior,on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. She was born August 18, 1949 in Montgomery County the daughter of Harry and Lucille Russell Ryan. Irene was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was very actively involved with her childrens schools PTA and other functions at Cumberland Heights Elementary and Montgomery Central. Other than her father of Clarksville, she is survived by her husband, Kenny Jones, Clarksville; sons, Kyle (Allison) Jones, Cunningham; daughters, Kendyl (Brandon) Chambers, Cumberland Furnace; brother, Pat (Starr) Ryan, Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Sawyer Jones, Cooper Jones and Mary Morgan Chambers. Pallbearers will be Don Jones, Dale Jones, Tim Welker, Jimmy Russell, John Adkins, Russell Adkins and Wayne Oldham. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Bastin and Bob Shoulta.
