Kenneth H. Clark Sr. Retired machinist WOLCOTT — Kenneth H. Clark Sr., 79, passed away at home on Saturday, June 25, 2011, after a long illness. He was the husband of Jean (Garceau) Clark. Ken was born on Oct. 23, 1931, in Detroit, Maine, and was the son of the late Rodney and Hazel (Hall) Clark. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired machinist for the Times Microwave Co. in Wallingford for 30 years. Ken was also a member of the V.F.W. in Naugatuck. Besides his wife, he leaves five daughters, Pamela Norton of New Mexico, Diane Reed and her husband, Jim, of Terryville, Roberta Brodesser and her husband, Heinz, of Prospect, Lynn Rizzuti of Thomaston, and Jennifer Clark-Mazzeo and her husband, Mark, of Naugatuck; four sons, Kenneth H. Clark Jr. of Waterbury, Norman Clark and his wife, Maria, of New Britain, Gary Clark and his fiancée, Linda, of Naugatuck, and Robert (Drew) Rizzuti of Naugatuck; and a brother, Richard O. Clark of Watertown. He also leaves several loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Ken is also survived by his first wife and longtime friend, Natalie Clark. He was predeceased by two brothers, Paul Clark and Albert Clark, and his sister, Ila Philbrick. Kenneth's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect at 11 a.m. Friends may call one hour before his service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
