Joan Reitzner

Reitzner, Joan H. (nee: Quella) Joan, age 86, went to her heavenly home Sunday, March 13, 2011. She was born to Joseph and Agnes (Hoffman) Quella on November 4, 1924. Joan was united in marriage to Arnold (Heinie) Reitzner on October 1, 1945. Heinie preceded her in death in 1995. Joan loved spending time with her family, friends and neighbors. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed league bowling for many years. Joan was a long time member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Joan is survived by her nine children (spouses), 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Her children are: Vickie (Dick) Wunderlich; Rich (Colleen) Reitzner; Margie (Bruce) Jahnke; Pam Holdorf-Reitzner; Greg (Terrie) Reitzner; Beth (Ron) Van Handel; Ed Reitzner; Chris (Pam) Reitzner and Ann (Jerry) Olson. Her son, Arnold Jr. preceded her in death in 1966. Her grandchildren are: Penny (Scott) Binley; Brian (Lisa) Wunderlich; Jill (Steve) Peterson; Brad (Lindsey) Reitzner; Shane (Hannah) Reitzner; Josh Jahnke; Andrea (Cindy) Holdorf; Eric (Ashley) Holdorf; Melissa (Tyler) Sass; Nick Reitzner; Katie (Doug) Salmi; Tim (Stacey) Reitzner; Jason, Justin and Jessica Van Handel; Ryan, Chelsea Reitzner and Lance Olson. Joan is also survived by brothers: Raymond (Marilyn) Quella and William Quella; a sister: Margaret (Andrew "Bud") Kangas; sisters-in-law: Gladys Van Dalen and Elaine Quella. Joan was preceded in death by brothers: Thomas, Kenneth and Richard Quella. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesdays, March 16, 2011, at St. Therese Catholic Church 213 E. Wisconsin Av. with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. The visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
