Amy Loftin

Amy Renee Loftin of Cosmopolis passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She was 35. Amy was born November 29, 1975 in Seattle, WA to Junior Frank and Janis (McClary) Kennemer. Amy was raised in Aberdeen and attended Weatherwax High School. On November 10, 2007 Amy married Ryan C. Loftin in Aberdeen, WA. He survives her at the family home. Amy had worked at Billy’s Restaurant, Rick’s Saloon, she had a vendor booth at the Washington Store and had worked in retail jewelry stores. Amy loved to roller skate and was recently accepted to be a skater for the local roller derby team. Amy was very involved with environmental and eco-friendly products. In addition to her husband Ryan, Amy is survived by her father, Frank Kennemer of Everett, WA; mother, Janis Howard of Aberdeen; son, Todd Kennemer; and daughter, Victoria Stobie; grandmother, Barbara Cole; brother, James and sisters, Lacey, Crystal, Barbara, Cheryl and Audrey. A celebration of Amy’s life will take place at Stewart Park in Aberdeen on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Donations can be made at Timberland Bank for the Amy Loftin Memorial Fund. The money will go toward medical and funeral costs as well as her two children.
