Why order flowers through us?

Buying flowers from us ensures that your order will be fulfilled through working with a network florists that are trusted by local funeral homes and recognized partners of the funeral industry. A customized message, along with a photo of your selected arrangement will remain in perpetuity within this memorial website. This service also includes “Smart Select” whereby the store notifies you if your floral selection has already been selected by another sender. This allows you the opportunity to choose a different product to ensure the family has a beautiful and unique selection of unique floral arrangements.

The price of these selections also includes the funeral home’s care of the flowers after the funeral and the delivery to the family or facility of choice where they can be rearranged and enjoyed by others for a longer period.

Memorial Candles

A Perpetual Tribute

The solitude and quiet peace of a flickering candle has long been a symbol of remembrance. Each candle lit will remain lit within this memorial website for the period you select. Your thoughtful gesture will be captured both in the candle as well as listed in perpetuity within the tributes section.

Memorial Trees

Circle of Life

In today’s changing world with climate change and environment concerns, “Honoring a Life” allows for family and friends to plant a memorial tree in honor of their loved one and friend. The purchase of a tree creates a beautiful permanent record on the Honoring a Life website, www.honoringalife.org. Each tree is planted through the efforts of Forestry Services throughout North America who determine where the greatest needs for reforestation are. Once planted, the geographical location where the tree is planted will be added to the record. A beautiful card is also sent to the family signifying your thoughtful gesture.

Financial Support

A Helping Hand

The time surrounding a death can often bring unexpected final expenses for the family far beyond the funeral itself. We are pleased to offer the ability for friends and relatives to financially support the family during their time of loss as an alternative to flowers and other sympathy gestures.

Obituary for Warna Timlock

Warna Timlock (June 14th 1923 – July 14th 2011.)

Warna Timlock (Fisher) was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia. She was a graduate of the Sydney Acadamy. Warna became an accomplished step dancer and entertained for the troops throughout the province and Island during the war. Moving to St. Catherines, Warna had two children, Jack and Kimberley and she spent some of her happiest years with them at the Garden City Theatre. She was extremely proud of her amazingly artistic children; Jack became a talented theatre set designer and producer, and Kimberley became an accomplished performer and teacher in theatre and dance. Warna moved to Sudbury in 1980 for the opening session of the Sudbury Theatre Centre as the Costume designer. Her magical costumes appeared in all of the mainstage shows. She especially loved working with the children who came through STC and became a surrogate grandmother to many both watching out for them and making sure they learned how to toe the mark in the highly disciplined world of theatre. Warna was also a dedicated life-long philanthropist. She started her generous life time of volunteering during the war in the canteen then continued with organizations such as the Girl Guides of Canada, Mental Health, the Gerontology program at Huntington University, Kiwanis Club of Sudbury, 111 Club at St. Andrews Place and was a proud founder of Interlink .This was recognized with awards for her volunteer work from the Professional Business Women of Sudbury and by the Province of Ontario with a Senior Achievement Award. Loving mother of Jack (partner Rick) and Kimberley (both predeceased). She will be sadly missed by the Giusti Family. Warna became the “adopted “ grandmother of Marissa and Meaghan Giusti who always included her in their lives. Special friend to Bea Tobin and family, Judi Straughan and Family and Louise Peach and Family. She will be remembered in a memorial service at the Sudbury Theatre Centre on September 1st at 7pm. All who know this outstanding community member are encouraged to attend. Donations to the Kiwanis Club of Sudbury and Mental Health.
