Mildred Agnes Thomson Flanagan was born on December 13, 1924, in Denver, CO, to Frank and Coral Thomson. She passed away quietly on May 4, 2010. Mildred was a Colorado native who attended Catholic schools: Blessed Sacrament and St. Mary's Academy in Denver. She also attended the University of Colorado and Denver University. Mildred married John Flanagan on November 3, 1951. They moved to Fort Collins in 1962. John preceded her in death in 2001. Mildred worked for several accounting firms in Fort Collins.Mildred is survived by five children, Mary Flanagan of Denver, Joan (Gary Clay) Flanagan of Frisco, TX, Tony (Kristy) Flanagan of Fort Collins, Cecilia (Dave) Everson of Fort Collins, and Michele Flanagan of Fort Collins; 5 grandchildren, Craig Everson, Aaron (Lisa) Everson, Shawn Flanagan, Brandon (Marie) Flanagan, and Brittany Flanagan; and 4 great granddaughters, Caitlyn and Alexis Flanagan, and Aiden and Lily Everson. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Cathy Thomson of Calif.; sister, Mary Mangus of Louisiana; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Helen) Flanagan of Mich.A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, May 6, at Allnutt Drake Chapel. Funeral Service 11:00 am Friday, May 7, at John 23rd University Center in Fort Collins. Inurnment will take place at Mount Olive Cemetery in Wheatridge. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Catholic Charities of Northern Colorado or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lafayette, CO, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 West Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
