Pasquale “Pat” Villani, 57, of Freehold Township, NJ, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011, at home. Mr. Villani was born in Nocera Inferiore, Naples and had lived in Woodhaven, NY, before moving to Freehold Twp in 1990. He was an Electrical Engineer for Vonage in Holmdel. Pat earned his master’s degree from the Polytechnic Institute. He was a Parishioner for St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and a former member of the M.A.R.S., He was a member of A.R.R.L. and also I.E.E.E. Mr. Villani was the author of two books including “FreeDOS Kernel,” and the holder of numerous patents. He also wrote several articles on Computer and Electrical Engineering Designs.
Mr. Villani was predeceased by his parents. Surviving is his wife, Donna Elsworth Villani, a daughter, Erika Villani both of Freehold Twp., two brothers, Vito Villani of Senoia, Georgia and Vincent Villani of Long Island, New York. One sister, Elena Villani also of Long Island.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp., NJ on Wednesday August 31, 2011, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal 9 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the funeral home, followed by his 10 AM funeral mass at St. Robert Bellamine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold, NJ.
