Stella Helene MacDougall
On Thursday, February 25, 2010, Stella Helene MacDougall of Mayerthorpe passed away, with her family at her side, at the age of 89 years. Stella will always be loved and never forgotten by her children, Loraine (Michael) Greaney of Gainford, Edward (Marion) of Mayerthorpe, Julie (Harold) Messum of Kamloops, Douglas (Peggy) of Whitecourt and Bonnie (Nick) McDonald of Edmonton; seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Betty, Anne, Julie and Paul; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Grant (2006); grandson, James Greaney; great-granddaughter, Sheridan May Warnock; parents, Felix and Helene; sisters and brothers, Phyllis, Jill, Stephanie, Mark and John. A Celebration of Stella’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 3 with the service to commence at 1:00 p.m. and a reception until 3:00 p.m. at the Mayerthorpe Legion. Private inurnment of Stella and Grant’s cremains will be held in the Mayerthorpe Cemetery.Obituary
