ROCKLAND - Paul Sebastian Giansiracusa, V, "Sebastian", precious baby of Christie Ranquist Robbins and Paul S. Giansiracusa, IV, died unexpectedly, Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Sebastian was born August 13, 2007, in Rockport where he was welcomed by his parents and two brothers, Austin and Eli Ranquist. Sebastian was a loveable, outgoing little boy who enjoyed playing with trains, cars, and loved everything "Toy Story". His grandmother said he was fascinated with the moon and stars. He loved water play and greatly enjoyed playing outside, which he often did with his cousins Lily, Autumn, Madison and Keenan. He also had a great love of animals especially his Nannie's dogs, "Lilly" and "Bouy" and the cats at Grandma's house, "Kitten" and "Gizmo". Sebastian is loved and remembered by his parents and his brothers all of Rockland; his paternal grandfather, Paul Giansiracusa, III and his wife Donna of Oldsmar, Florida; paternal grandmother Rhonda Giansiracusa "Grama" of Warren; his paternal great-grandfather Clarence Perry of Rockport; his maternal grandparents, Linda "Nannie" and Paul "Papa" Shanley of Owls Head; aunts Stacy Giansiracusa "Auntie", Amy Giansiracusa "Auntie", both of Warren, Tabitha Robbins of Union; uncles Matthew Giansiracusa, Derrek Giansiracusa both of Oldsmar, Florida, Eugene Fowler of Warren, Larry York of Union; many cousins, including a special cousin Santana Robbins of Owls Head; as well as many great aunts and great uncles. A Celebration of Love will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 6, 2010 at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock Street, Rockland. A reception will follow at 104 Limerock, the funeral home's reception facility.
