Annette Docter

Annette Runser Docter, 55, of Waterford, died Saturday evening May 28, 2011 at her residence following a lengthy illness. A resident of the Erie area all of her life she was born in Erie on January 28, 1956 a daughter of the late Wilbur J. and Yvonne J. Sherwood Runser. Annette had worked as a housekeeper at the Days Inn for 21 years. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, watching birds, and especially her cats. Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Darrell Docter; two sons, Joseph Buetikofer and Matthew Runser and his wife Missy, all of Erie; four brothers, Raymond Runser and his wife Kris of Greene Township, Robert Runser of Franklin Center, PA, Norman Runser and his wife Rose of Greene Township, and Paul Runser and his wife Peg of Greene Township; one sister, Marion Rater and her husband Randy of Waterford; two grandchildren, Haley and Mackenzie; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will not be observed and services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the Kuhl Hose Co., 3131 Rescue Lane, Erie, 16510. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, Erie, 16504.
