Jim SCHIFFBAUER Palatka, Florida Obituary

Jim SCHIFFBAUER

JIM SCHIFFBAUER Jim Schiffbauer made his 9:55 tee time at Purgatory Pines Sunday March 1, 2009. His earthly gallery includes daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Brandon Smith with granddaughters, Taylor & Alexis Smith, all of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; brother & sister-in-law, George & Janet Schiffbauer and nephew, Nathan, all of Interlachen. Already awaiting his arrival are his parents, Ben & Mary K. Schiffbauer and a niece, Amber Renee. Jim’s life was not always easy, but the last few years were made special by his extended family at the Palatka Municipal Golf Course. As Bucky put it, “he was sometimes homeless, but never friendless”. May all his chip ins be birdies. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday March 6th at the Johnson Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Father Bob Napier officiating. In celebration of his life, a memorial video will be shown. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center, 6400 St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, Florida, 32177. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
