Emile Luc Desrochers Dracut, MA; 80 Emile Luc Desrochers, 80, of Dracut, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on December 1, 2011 at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. He was a communicant of Grace Free Presbyterian Church, Litchfield, NH. Born in Lowell, MA, on October 15, 1931, to the late Mr.& Mrs. Phillippe Desrochers, he was the beloved husband of Lorraine Riendeau Desrochers, the loving father of seven children and the brother to eight siblings. Over the years Emile worked in various positions to support his family with the last being the Hudson, NH school district, and Davidson Parking Lot in Lowell. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cherished those moments with them. He also enjoyed the beach, bowling, playing cards, traveling, grocery shopping, and watching the Redsox and the Patriots with his sons. He is survived by five sons and two daughters: Raymond Desrochers and his wife Eileen, of Dracut, Priscille Guerette and her husband Ronald, of Nashua, George Desrochers and his wife Cora of SC, Elaine Yen and her husband Frank of Hudson, John Desrochers of Dracut, Emile Desrochers and his wife Kim of Merrimack, David Desrochers and his wife Francine, of Lowell and his brother Roland Desrochers, of Lowell. He was Pepere to twenty grandchildren, Pep to eight great grandchildren and a dear uncle to several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven of his eight siblings. Calling hours are Monday, December 5, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 10:00 am at the Dracut Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Emile's name to the COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27th Avenue, Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133 or the American Heart Association.
