Obituary for Catherine Virginia King Biddle Hupertz

Catherine Virginia King Hupertz, age 91 of Hanover, Indiana, formerly of Tiffin, Ohio entered this life on August 5, 1920 in Saxton, Pennsylvania. She was the loving daughter of the late, William Albert & Margaret Hoover King. She was first united in marriage to Harold "Jim" Biddle in Pennsylvania and he preceded her in death.  She was later  united in marriage to Joseph E. Hupertz in Monroe, Michigan. She had resided in Tiffin, Ohio until moving to Hanover in 2009. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker all of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Tiffin, Ohio and had graduated from Bedford High School. She had worked a short time for General Electric in Tiffin. Catherine died Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:35 p.m. at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover, Indiana.


Catherine will be missed by her sons: Harold "Bill" Biddle of Tiffin, Ohio, Thomas "Tom" Biddle of Lima, Ohio; her daughter: Mary Foster & her husband, Jim of Madison, Indiana; her granddaughter she had raised since birth: Deanna Whiteman & her husband, Scott of Tiffin, Ohio; her grandson & caregiver: Steve  Cook of Kenton, Ohio; 17-grandchildren & 31 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Albert & Margaret Hoover King; her husbands, Harold "Jim" Biddle and Joseph E. Hupertz; her sons, Gary & Robert "Bob" Biddle.


Funeral services will be private at at Engle - Shook Funeral Home, 135 North Washington Street Tiffin, Ohio 44883. Interment will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery, Tiffin, Ohio.
