<p>Bernice Opal Large, 86, of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. Born on May 6, 1925, in Dickenson County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Bamma Rasnick Bise. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Trigg Large; sister, Joelean Mullins and brother, Kermit Bise.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Lancaster and husband Marshall of Clemmons, NC; grandsons, Jonathan Evans of Dallas, TX and Jason Evans of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Jenolla Ball of Gate City, VA; special friends Wilma Sutherland and Nancy Breeding; and sister-in-law and special friend, who was also her caretaker for the past few months, Alene Lambert and husband Harold.</p><p>Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. </p><p>A graveside will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, at Temple Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum in Castlewood, Virginia. </p><p><br></p>

Obituary

Bernice Opal Large, 86, of Lebanon, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011. Born on May 6, 1925, in Dickenson County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Bamma Rasnick Bise. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Trigg Large; sister, Joelean Mullins and brother, Kermit Bise.


Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Lancaster and husband Marshall of Clemmons, NC; grandsons, Jonathan Evans of Dallas, TX and Jason Evans of Winston-Salem, NC; sister, Jenolla Ball of Gate City, VA; special friends Wilma Sutherland and Nancy Breeding; and sister-in-law and special friend, who was also her caretaker for the past few months, Alene Lambert and husband Harold.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
