Judith Meadows, 75, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Indiana. She was born July 18, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Le Roy and Dorothy Stamper. She married Jesse James Meadows on June 18, 1958; he preceded her in death on March 10, 1992. Mrs. Meadows retired as a L.P.N. from Johnson Memorial Hospital after 35 years of service. She was a member of Community Congregational Church in Franklin. She was a member of the Johnson County Garden Club, Birthday Club, Franklin Retired Nurses Club, and was a graduate of Ivy Tech School of Nursing. She enjoyed gardening, her pets, butterflies, and especially her family. Survivors include a daughter, Donna A. Brubeck of Indianapolis, Indiana; son Robert A. Meadows (Linda C.) of Bargersville, Indiana; grandchildren Chris Reese of Plainfield, Indiana, Jason Reese of Southport (Indianapolis), Indiana, Amber Dawn Meadows of Franklin, and Jeremy Alan Meadows of Bargersville; brother Richard Stamper (Joellen) of Carmel, Indiana; nieces Diane, Vicky, and Georgia; nephew George; and special extended family Leah German of Whiteland, Indiana, Shannon Hill of Indianapolis, Teri German of Indianapolis, and Jessica Hill of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Albert, and extended family member Darrell Stovall. The Reverend Dan McLaughlin will conduct a service Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 11 A.M. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary And Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
