TOUGH Mr. William "Bill” Tough, age 84 years passed away on Monday, March 4, 2002 at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital-McKellar Site. Bill was born in Lumsden, District of Aberdeen, Scotland. He moved to Canada with his family in 1920 at the age of 2, settling in Stratton, Ontario. During WWII he served in Europe for the Canadian Forestry Corps. and upon discharge he moved to Fort William with his new bride. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sally; sons Bill (Glennyss) of Nanaimo, B.C., Don (Colleen) of Nolalu and Tom (Trudy) of Slate River; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Christine and brother Ernie. Funeral services for the late Mr. William Tough will be held on Friday, March 8, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 W. Gore Street at James with Rev. Lloyd Ivany officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations to Diabetes Health Thunder Bay would be appreciated. A donation has been made to Diabetes Health Thunder Bay in honour of Mr. William Tough by Everest of Thunder Bay.
