Karen E. Shepard, 60, a resident of Pulaski passed away on Sunday, January 08, 2012 at Bethany House of Hospice Advantage in Madden, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 5:00 until 8:00 pm and on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 8:30 until 9:45 am. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 10:00 am in the chapel with burial following in New Hope Baptist Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MS. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Lott and Pastor Doug Rouse. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements. Karen had lived in Pulaski, MS since 1980 moving from Walnut Grove, MS and Florida. She was a member of All Seasons Worship Center in Forest, MS. She loved to make candy wreaths to give away to people. She was preceded in death by her father Lawrence D. Frietsch; one sister, Kathy Herring. She is survived by her husband, Jerry E. Shepard of Pulaski, MS; mother, Doris Frietsch of Brandon, FL; two brothers, Larry Frietsch of Whitehall, MI; Chuck Frietsch of Riverview, Fl; one sister, Sandra Wilson of Plant City, FL; a dear friend and caregiver, Evelyn Hall; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gene Wayne Pearce, Danny Gunn, Joshua Bassett, Roger Massey, James Gunn, and Preston Massey.
