Mrs. Cheryl J. Ploetz, age 63 of Concord, passed away February 21, 2008 at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born March 27, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Ploetz was employed as a First Grade Teacher at Warden School in Wickliffe, Ohio. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord and was active with the PSR program. She also volunteered at the Lake County Historical Society. She is survived by her husband Richard A. Ploetz, her sons Adam (Jessica) of Boston, MA and Alex (Mary) of Lakewood, Ohio, granddaughter Isabelle, brother William (Cheryl) Guthrie of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death her parents Charles and Rose (Hoffman) Guthrie. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at St. Gabriel Church, Concord, Ohio. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio.
