Russell Blankenship, Age 60, Hurley, Virginia passed away, Wednesday,
February 1, 2012 at his home.
Born February 25, 1951 in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late
Troy and Erma Cole Blankenship. He was formerly self employed with
B & B Paving Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother, Troy
Arnold Blankenship, 3 sisters, Brenda Gail, Pearl and Shirl Blankenship and
1 Nephew Damon Blankenship.

Funeral services for Russell Blankenship will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2012
At 2 PM at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel at Grundy, Virginia with Kenny Jackson, Michael Casey and Willie Coleman officiating with burial to follow in the
Blankenship Cemetery at Hurley, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Friday evening at 6 PM at the Virginia Funeral Home
A service will be held at 7 PM both Friday and Saturday evening.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Barry Estep, Family and Friends.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the former employees of B & B Paving Company
Virginia Funeral Home of Grundy is in charge of arrangements.
