BRASHER FALLS - Mr. Myron J. "Bud" Taylor, 65, 10603 State Highway 11, died Wednesday (April 25, 2007) afternoon at Fletcher-Allen Medical Center, Burlington, where he had been a patient for the past 2 weeks. He had been in failing health for the past 7 years. He was born at the family home in Lisbon on December 11, 1941, the son of the late Myron Martin and Hazel Mae VanBrocklin Taylor. He attended schools in Norfolk. He married Charlotte Pearl Blair on October 23, 1965 at the Calvary Baptist Church, Massena. He worked on various local farms and a farm in Malone as a farm hand. He also worked at the Norfolk Paper Mill and in the kitchen at Reynolds for a short time. In addition, he worked at Van Brody's in Massachusetts. Most recently, he worked at Joe Malone's Garage in Raymondville. He enjoyed camping, spending time with his grandchildren, building and fixing things, and collected model boats. His greatest enjoyment was farming. Bud is survived by his wife, Charlotte; 6 children and their spouses, Myron Lee and Jill Taylor, Winthrop; Charlene Taylor, Brasher Falls; Brenda and Corey White, Massena; William Martin Taylor, Norfolk; Paul J. Taylor and his fiancee, Dawn Douglas, Brasher Falls; Mellissa Oakes, Norfolk; 4 grandsons, Corey Jr, Connor, and Nickolas White, and Myron Lee Taylor, Jr; 2 granddaughters, Brooke White and Jocelyn Spinner; 5 sisters and their husbands, Phyllis and Clifford McKinney, Brunswick, ME; Hazel and Robert DeShane, Raymondville; Claudette and Gordon Briggs, Zephyrhills, FL; Kathi Taylor Baxter, West Plains, MO; Nona and Tony Murray, Massena; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Myron and Hazel Taylor, and 3 sisters, Mary Louise Seeber, Carol Ann and Laura Jean Taylor. Friends are invited to call Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 AM with Rev. Brendan Hardy, pastor of the Norfolk Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Carville Cemetery, Helena. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
