NEW LIMERICK - James Sennett, 78, died March 9, 2012, in the arms of his wife, Linda. He was born March 25, 1933, in Houlton, the son of John O. and Ethel (Tyrell) Sennett. In addition to his wife of 23 years, Linda (Hogan) Sennett of New Limerick, he is survived by four children, Deb Sennett of Houlton, Bryan and Linda Sennett of Sabattus and Jeremy DeLong of Bangor, Duane Allen and Sheila Sennett and their children, Nicholas and Bradley and his wife, Jen, all of Lathem, N.Y., and Gidget Dossin and her daughter, Samantha, of Columbiaville, Mich.; his siblings, Barbara Foster, Allen and Judy Sennett, all of Houlton, Duane and Dorie Sennett of Millinocket, Ernest and Clair Sennett of Westport, Mass., Velma and Robert Nason of Hodgdon, Phyllis Hersey and her fiance, Joe Drake, Linda and George Schools, all of Houlton, Bernard "Bud" and Beverly Sennett of Linneus and Michael and Kathy Sennett of Hodgdon; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his three girls, Alice, Theodore and Phoebe Ann. He was predeased by his parents; two brothers, Keith and Wendell; and a sister, Donna. A time of memories will be held 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton.
