Obituary for Dorothy Wells Brundage

Services for Dorothy Wells Brundage, 88, of Frankfort, will be conducted from Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. with burial following at the Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from noon until the service. She passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at her home. She was born in Frankfort on September 16, 1923 and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1942. She and her family owned Carriage House Gifts. She was a member of First Christian Church and a past member of the Frankfort Younger Woman’s Club. She is survived by two daughters, Judy Brundage and Nancy Fuller (Jerry), and two grandsons, Andy Fuller (Becky) and Brandon Fuller, all of Frankfort. She is also survived by niece Martha Wells Anderson (John) of Dalton, Georgia; nephew William H. Wells (Vickie), of Rock Hill, South Carolina; sister-in-law Elizabeth Wells, of White Rock Hill, South Carolina; and special friends and dedicated caregivers, Linda Ethington and Wanda Gaines. Dorothy was the daughter of the late William Harrision Wells and Mae Lacefield Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Harry Porter Brundage; her infant son, Donald Wells Brundage; sister, Alma Wells Newby; and brother, Howard Harrison Wells. Pall Bearers: Jerry Fuller, Andy Fuller, Brandon Fuller, David Rawlings, Timothy Rawlings, and John Anderson. Honorary Pall Bearers: A.B. Long, Wayne Westwood, Michael Jull, and Scott Hoover. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
