BEREZOWSKI, Karen, Elizabeth - Karen's five year battle with cancer ended mercifully on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie. She was surrounded by her loving family for a final good-bye. Karen is survived by her devoted parents Ed and Mary Berezowski, her brothers Tim (Sylvia) Berezowski and Tony (Wendy) Berezowski, along with her nieces and nephews Giulian, Stella, Luke and Cordelia. Most of all she will be missed by her loving son Alexander Terris Jarry, who was the centre of Karen's world and the main source for her inspirational strength of will. The family will receive friends at Trinity United Church, 15 Pine St. South, Thorold, Ontario on Saturday, May 5th, 2012. Cremation has already taken place. A brief visitation will begin at 10:00am with the funeral proceedings at 12:00pm. Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so to the NHS - Douglas Memorial Palliative Care Unit, where Karen was cared for so very well in her final days.
