WATERVLIET – Joan F. Madlin Clark, 76, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Troy on October 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Kostyk Madlin. Joan was raised in Poestenkill and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy. She was employed for over 30 years by Verizon in Menands as a accounting finance clerk before retiring in 1995. She was a life member of the Maplewood Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to watch QVC, spend time with her grandchildren and enjoyed her trips to Barbados and Aruba with her late husband Ralph. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Clark who died in 1996, loving mother of John E. (Kathleen) Clark of Averill Park, Roy W. (Linda) Clark of Poestenkill, Colleen A. Babeyko of Watervliet and Jeffrey M. (Cindy) Clark of Latham, Adored grandmother of Nicole (late Darryl) Sluus, Sarah Babeyko, Amy (Wayne) Wehnau, Jennifer (Ryan) Pechtel, John Clark, Jr., Ryan (Stephanie) Clark, Kristen (Dustin) Shelgren, Kevin Clark, Grace Clark and the late Walter William Babeyko, Great grandmother of Tyler Pechtel, Wyatt and Meghan Wehnau and Dylan Shelgren, Sister of Dawn (John) Blackburn of Averill Park and the late Diane Nelson and Edward Madlin. She is also survived by a special lady, Grandma Rose Madlin of Watervliet and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Pat Kurywka for all your help and love during this time. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:15 am from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watervliet. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G.
