Robert Randall Roberts, Jr., 81, a resident of Morton, MS passed away on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 at his residence. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 4:30 until 9:00 pm and on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 9:00 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral services will be held in the chapel Friday at 2:00 pm and burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Norman Sanders and Bro. Charles Finch. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements. Mr. Roberts had lived in Polkville, MS for the past 23 years moving from Jackson, MS and was a member of Morton Church of God in Morton, MS. He attended Pelahatchie First Assembly of God in Pelahatchie, MS. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Randall Roberts, Sr. and Rosie Roberts; four sisters. He is survived by his wife, Hattie Roberts of Polkville, MS; one daughter, Barbara McDowell of Baton Rouge, LA; four sons, Robert L. Roberts of Vicksburg, MS; David Roberts and wife Pattie of Vicksburg, MS; Randall Roberts and wife Linda of Morton, MS; Dale Roberts and wife Delynn of Morton, MS; one sister, Ethel Wright of Waynesboro, MS; ten grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Roberts, Joshua Roberts, David McDowell, Jamie McDowell, Justin Stuart, and Ricky Dean.
