JAMES "JIMMY" ROBERT DAMON SR. January 30, 1945 - September 1, 2011 James "Jimmy" Robert Damon Sr., 66 of Harrison passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at his home. Mr. Damon was born January 30, 1945 in Howell, Michigan, the son of Pete and Mary Beth (Phillips) Damon. Mr. Damon had resided in Harrison since 1989, moving from Brighton, Michigan. Jimmy enjoyed socializing with his friends and family. Surviving Jimmy are his two sons: James Robert Damon Jr. and his wife, Jamie of Harrison and Brandon E. Damon of Seguin, Texas, one daughter, Michelle Steur and husband Matthew of Pinckney, Michigan, one sister, Lanny Hathoway and husband Bill of Lewiston, Michigan, one brother, Richard Damon and wife Susan of Howell, Michigan, four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Damon was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. In following Mr. Damon's wishes, cremation has taken place.
