Carol K. Leben, 69, of Mesa, AZ passed away June 3, 2012 in Gilbert, AZ. Carol grew up in Hartington, NE with her 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Out of school, she married, moved to Yankton, SD and raised 2 boys. In 1990 she re-married and moved to Mesa, AZ where she purchased, with her husband, a mailing & shipping store and became her own boss. Carol's life continued to blossom with the addition of daughter in-laws and grandchildren. One of Carol's favorite times of the year was the annual sister trip, where she and her 3 sisters would travel together and make lasting memories. She was an active and passionate member of her church and volunteered her time to act as God's hands and feet. She is survived by her husband, Carl A. Leben, sons Robert Stratman (wife Janet) and Patrick Stratman (wife Carissa), and grandchildren Jonathan Stratman, Aubrey Stratman, and River Stratman . A visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012 at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave. Gilbert, AZ. Services will be at 10 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Ave. Chandler, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Praise & Worship Center, 2551 N.
