Obituary for Paul J. Violette

Paul J. Violette, of Windsor Locks, passed from his earthly life at the age of 66, on Wednesday (June 20, 2012) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford. Paul was the beloved husband of 39 years to Joanne M. (Weatherwax) Violette and son of the late Joseph A. and Bernadette (Dumas) Violette. He was born on May 23, 1946 in Springfield, MA and had resided in Windsor Locks for the past 15 years and in Springfield, MA before that. Paul retired after 28years of service with John H. Breck Company and recently was employed part-time with Galaxy Valet Service, in Windsor Locks. Paul was an avid bowler, loved the beach and was an older muscle car enthusiast, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and family. Besides his beloved wife Joanne, Paul is survived by his two loving daughters; Jolene Jacobs & husband Christopher of Cranston, RI and Paula June & husband Christopher of Quaker Hill, CT, his three beloved grandchildren; Ariel & Brianna Jacobs and Bryson June. He also leaves to mourn his passing a niece Cynthia Powers & husband Michael of Chicopee, MA, along with a great niece & nephew; Caitlin and Gregory Powers. He was recently predeceased by his sister, Pauline Boutwell (May 2012). Relatives and friends may gather with his family on Monday (June 25, 2012) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial and Remembrance Service at 8:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Assoc. P.O. Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241.
