William L. Larkin, Sr. 76, of River Bend, MO passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Liberty Terrace Rehabilitation Center. Services will be 10 am Monday, January 19th at Speaks Midtown Chapel; with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 9 am until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ararat Shrine Wings of Mercy Fund. Bill was born March 5, 1927 in Courtney, MO to B. Frank Larkin, Jr. and Agnes Leone Mann Larkin. Bill was a lifelong farmer; a member of Independence First United Methodist Church; a member of the AF&AM Lodge #76, and the Ararat Shrine for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the US Army Combat Engineers during the Korean War. Bill served on the Board of Directors of P.W.D. #5 for over 30 years, and was one of the founders and a Trustee of the Village of River Bend. Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Connie Larkin; children, Bill Larkin, Jr. and wife Wilma of Liberty, MO, Patricia Bondurant and husband James of Lawrence, KS, and Karen Larkin of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Tom and Brian Bondurant, Hannah and Aubrey Larkin; a sister, Anna Noland of Liberty, MO.
