Why order flowers through us?

Ordering through the funeral home helps ensure your order will be placed through a local flower shop with whom the funeral home has a personal and trusting relationship with. Through this service, you will be able to leave a longer message of support to the family via a card with the picture of your selection that will be included with your thoughtful gesture. As well as a photo of your arrangement and message will remain in perpetuity within this memorial website. This service also includes “Smart Select” whereby the store notifies you if your floral selection has already been selected by another sender, allowing you the opportunity to choose a different arrangement if you wish.

The price of these selections also include the funeral home caring for the flowers after the funeral and delivering them to the family, or various care facilities where they can be rearranged and enjoyed by others for a longer period.

Memorial Candles

A Perpetual Tribute

The solitude and quiet peace of a flickering candle has long been a symbol of remembrance. Each candle lit will remain lit within this memorial website for the period you select. Your thoughtful gesture will be captured both in the candle as well as listed in perpetuity within the tributes section.

Memorial Trees

Circle of Life

In today’s changing world with climate change and environment concerns, “Honoring a Life” allows for family and friends to plant a memorial tree in honor of their loved one and friend. The purchase of a tree creates a beautiful permanent record on the Honoring a Life website, www.honoringalife.org. Each tree is planted through the efforts of Forestry Services throughout North America who determine where the greatest needs for reforestation are. Once planted, the geographical location where the tree is planted will be added to the record. A beautiful card is also sent to the family signifying your thoughtful gesture.

Financial Support

A Helping Hand

The time surrounding a death can often bring unexpected final expenses for the family far beyond the funeral itself. We are pleased to offer the ability for friends and relatives to financially support the family during their time of loss as an alternative to flowers and other sympathy gestures.

Obituary for Ashley and Colton Fischer

Ashley (17) and Colton (16) Fischer were granted the opportunity on June 24, 2012 to share their love far beyond the limits of this world. Ashley and Colton relished in the joy of being surrounded by family and friends throughout their short, yet very memorable lives. Ashley and Colton’s lives would seem too short to many, but for those who knew their hearts, they understood the quality of their existence far exceeded their quantity of time. Their smiles could light up a room while simultaneously melting your heart. Ashley’s passion for helping those most in need defined her caring nature. Her special needs cat Lilly taught her much. Developing the club Voices Carry with Larimer County Child Advocacy Center brought child abuse to center stage for RMHS students. Colton’s gentle giant status made him the quintessential offensive lineman for RMHS, he had just achieved second string varsity status as an incoming Junior. His love of the game gave him the nickname “Ed’s Wingman”. You could always count on Colton to tell you what he thought. With Ashley and Colton’s passing we remind others that their life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss them everyday, we know their spirit will remain forever in our hearts. Their love for each other never included the typical sibling rivalry, they were each other’s best friends and will forever remain connected. Ashley and Colton leave behind many wonderful friends, whom loved them very much. Ashley and Colton are survived by their loving parents, Deanna and James Brookhouser of Ft. Collins, CO and Tim and Roxy Fischer of Tioga ND, Sister Natasha Rehak and Brother Zachariah Rehak, step-brothers Jeffery McCoy and Joshua Brookhouser; Step-grandparents Larry and Pat Brookhouser and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. They were preceded in death by their maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents. Memorial services were held on July 2, 2012 at River of Life Church, Wellington CO. Gifts in honor of Ashley Fischer’s memory may be made to: Larimer County Child Advocacy Center. Gifts in honor of Colton Fischer’s memory may be made to: Rocky Mountain High School – Boosters Club, c/o Allnutt Funeral, 650 W. Drake, Ft. Collins, CO 80526
