Obituary for Linda Burns

Baldwyn--Linda Rausch Burns, 64, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at her home after a lenghty illness. She was born June 13, 1947, in Rexburg, Idaho to Alma M. and Faye A. Williams Rausch. She had worked in many sewing factories, the most recent being Golden Manufacturing, before becoming disabled. She was a member of the First Independent Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, gardening, her grandchildren and her dogs. She trusted in her Savior and loved her family very much.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Independent Baptist Church with Bro. Toby Mears officiating.Survivors include her children, Rodney Kimbrel (Virginia) of Pontotoc, Dusty Kimbrel of Mantachie, Linda Faye Burns Franks of Baldwyn and Michael N. Burns (Amanda) all of Baldwyn; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Davies (Allen) of Pocatello, Idaho, Kathleen Rundle (James) of Firth, Idaho, Carla Bevan of Shoup, Idaho, Evelyn Griechen (Russell) of Mooreville and JoAnne Cheatham of Mooreville; her brothers, Ed Lee (Marion) of Fielding, Utah, Robert Rausch (Arlette) of Pocatello, Idaho, Mike Rausch (LaWanda) of Plantersville, Leoo Rausch (Glenda Sue) of Plantersville, Blaine H. Rausch (Vivian) of Kingman, Ariz., and Fred A. Rausch (Regina) of LaPine, Or.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank N. Burns; her parents; three brothers, Alma Rausch, John Rausch, and Bart W. Lee; one sister, Peggy Addy.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Tupelo-Lee County Humane Society of the First Independent Baptist Church Building Fund.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
