Marian Deloris Derr, 83 of Scottsbluff went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 31st 2012 at Golden Living Center. Cremation has taken place at the Jolliffe Funeral Home Crematory at Scottsbluff. Online condolences may be left at www.jolliffefuneralhome.com A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Jones Mortuary Chapel in Mitchell, Nebraska, with Pastor Don Mathis officiating.
Marian was born February 4th, 1929 to Jack and Mary (Rexius) Derr. Marian retired from the Riverton Wyoming School system 20 years ago and returned to the Lyman, Morrill area where she was raised. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and playing pitch. Over the years she has had many special friends and will be missed by many.
Survivors include her son Rick (Sherry) Derr of Scottsbluf , Grandsons Travis of Colorado Springs and Michael of Scottsbluff, Great Granddaughter Justeana also of Scottsbluff, a very special great niece Ashley Derr of Morrill, Sisters-in-law Mary Ann Derr of Lyman and Barbara Derr of Helena Montana, many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents Jack and Mary, Sister Elsie Boro, Brother in Law Melvin Boro, Brothers Bill, Robert (Bob), Jack Jr. and Larry.
