Sarah E. Reid, 18, of Athens, PA passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born on April 23, 1994 in Oceanside, NY the daughter of Edmund J. and Patricia D. Nania Reid.
Sarah was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Sayre, PA. She was a graduate of Epiphany School and Athens Area High School Class of 2012. Sarah was a student at Penn State University, Wilkes-Barre Campus. She loved soccer and softball, fishing, and going to the beach on Long Island in the summer. She loved to spend time with her brother, 4 sisters, and her boyfriend.
She is survived by her parents Edmund and Patricia Reid at home, siblings Elizabeth, Hannah, Leah, Shayne, and Norah Reid at home, grandmothers Barbara Reid of St. Petersburg, FL and Pietra Nania of Baldwin, NY, paternal aunts and uncles Michelle (John) Milano of Selden, NY, Thomas Reid, Jr. of Athens, PA, Dr. Michael (Alison) Reid of Central Islip, NY, and Christine Reid of Waverly, NY, maternal aunts and uncles Angela Nania of Baldwin, NY, Josephine Bagnasco of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, and Victoria (Bruce) Travers of Ashburn, VA, cousins, Stephen (Nicole) Bagnasco, Jacqueline Bagnasco, Emily Bagnasco, Bruce Travers II, Sophia Travers, Amanda Travers, Melissa Travers, Casey Reid, Kelley Reid, and Kaleigh Reid, and boyfriend Justin Morris.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 7pm–9pm and Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 2pm–4pm and 7pm-9pm at the Jay E. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 9:30am at the Church of the Epiphany, 304 South Elmer Ave., Sayre, PA.
