KARPOVICH, Marie (nee Chirico) age 92, formerly of Marlton NJ and Philadelphia Pa. died peacefully on November 12, in Cherry Hill NJ at Avista Healthcare. Mrs. Karpovich was born on November 27, 1918 in Hazelton Pa. and raised in Shenandoah PA. She settled in Philadelphia after marrying her husband, the late Anthony ‘Tan’ Karpovich. She was the devoted mother of Anthony (Michele) and the late Michael (Carole) Karpovich. Grandmother to Anthony, Regina, Timothy, Jennifer (Michael Viano), Jeffrey, Derek (Sarah), Michael, Jessie and Megan Karpovich. Great grandmother of Madison and Isabella Karpovich and Margaret Viano. Aunt of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Marie ‘Marina’ was very talented at crafts, enjoyed going to the casinos and loved Elvis. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Friday from 9:45-10:30am at St. Joan of Arc Church Willow Bend Road Marlton. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne PA. The American Cancer Society has been chosen to receive contributions in her memory: 1851 Old Cuthbert Road Cherry Hill NJ 08034. www.cancer.org Marie lost both her son Michael (Carole) and daughter-in-law Peggy (Anthony) to cancer. Funeral directed by Bradley Funeral Home, Marlton NJ.
