Kristi Whittington

Kristi Marie Whittington, 32, of Gerrardstown, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at City Hospital. Born February 16, 1977 she was the daughter of Ann Shade Whittington, of Gerrardstown, and the late James K. Whittington. She was formerly employed at Barnhart’s, County Market and Food Lion. She was of the protestant faith and a graduate of Musselman High School, Class of 1995, and Valley College. Kristi had two favorite dogs, Coco and Spike. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, David A.Whittington, of Gerrardstown; one sister, Lorie Whittington, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; aunts and uncles; special friend, Buster Helsley and her former husband, Geoffrey Miller. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, James K. Whittington, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Bunker Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13th at the funeral home.
