Obituary for Dennis Doyle Weeks

Dennis Doyle Weeks, age 55, of LaCygne, Kansas died Sunday December 14, 2008 at the Miami County Medical Center. He was born on May 13, 1953 at Kansas City, Missouri the son of Doyle and Dorothy Bloodgood Weeks. He was a Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He married Ede Howard on January 24, 1987. He was most recently employed in the produce department at WalMart. He had also worked as a lawn mower mechanic, as a firefighter, truck driver and in the construction industry. He is survived by his wife Ede Howard of the home, four sons: Doyle Weeks, Clayton Norcross, Charles Howard, and James Weeks, six daughters: Katie Weeks, Marie Myers, Melissa Weeks, Jenifer Weeks, Kimberly Howard, and Teresa Howard, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 7 PM Wednesday December 17, 2008 at the Coffel-Schneider Chapel in LaCygne, Kansas. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM prior to the service. The family suggests contributions to Children’s Mercy Hospital c/o Coffel-Schneider, P.O. Box 304, LaCygne, Kansas 66040.
