Obituary for Michael J. Crosby

Michael J. Crosby, 57, of Exeter Township, after a brief battle with cancer, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 in the Mifflin Center, Shillington where he had been a resident since May 25th. Born in Plainfield, N.J., he was a son of Joan K. (Kauffman) Crosby of Exeter Township and the late Charles H. Crosby. He had attended Exeter High School and was employed as a security guard with APG Security, Douglassville. He was a member of Zion (Spies) Lutheran Church, Alsace Township He enjoyed his music and repairing small engines. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother: Scott Crosby and wife Rhoda or Mauldin, S.C. and his sisters: Dana J., wife of Joseph Hartz of Ruscombmanor Township and Daryl A, wife of Mark Anderson of St. Ignace, Michigan. He is also survived by his nieces: Katya Anderson and Meredith Hartz and his nephews: Dennis Anderson and Jacob and Nicholas Hartz. He was predeceased by his girlfriend, Anna Peterman. Services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zion (Spies) Lutheran Church, 310 Spies Church Road, Reading, Pa. 19606.
