EDITH DILL 1936 - 2012 Edith Dill entered heaven’s gates on November 7, 2012. She was born on January 26, 1936, in Bates, Arkansas, to H. T. and Lura Mae (Parent) Ritter. She married Alex Dill, Jr. on December 25, 1957, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who dearly loved cooking for others, crocheting and gardening. She was a member of Elm Grove Assembly of God Church. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her for her sweet, compassionate, generous, patient and independent character. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.T. and Lura Mae Ritter, sister, Mary Baker, and brothers, Samuel Ritter, Oscar Paul Ritter and Freddy Ritter. She is survived by her husband, Alex, of the home, sister, Lavida Klassen of Heavener, brothers, Jerry and his wife, Dorothy, of Plainview, Arkansas, Clifford Ritter and wife, Nina, of Bates, Arkansas, Phil and wife, Louie Mae, of Dardannelle, Arkansas, son, John Dill of Muskogee, daughters, Susan Jackson of Owasso, Amy Corley of Oklahoma City and Penny Williams and husband, Mike, of Muskogee, grandchildren, Diana Callaghan, Amanda Lyons, Miranda Lyons, Samantha Colvin, Jeremy Taylor, Halston Williams, Tecara Corley, Tia Corley and Tanna Corley and great-grandchildren, Shane Pennington and Raylee Wiedel, along with many other beloved ones. Special thanks to Dr. Ravikumar Vasireddy and his staff for their compassionate care during her courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Elm Grove Assembly of God Church with Pastor Clyde Powell officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. in Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
