It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death in Sudbury on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Son of the late Athanase Richer and the late Irene (née Rattelle) Richer. Beloved husband of Darlene (née Chevrier) Richer. Loving father of Maurice (Keisha), Carol Bosse (Paul), Daniel (Julie), Diane Marcoux all of Sudbury, Jacqueline and Michelyne both still at home and Michael (Tracy) of Garson. Predeceased by Raymond and Baby Danny. Dear brother of Angie Miron (Pete), Gerald Richer (Denise), Claire Obonsawin (Gerry) and Lucien Richer (Pauline). Predeceased by his brother Maurice Richer (late Doris). Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in St Andrew the Apostle Church, Sudbury.
